"Emergence from underneath the ashes"..........words from the DTF song EMERGENCE

For DTF this is the truth , the band hail from the North east of England .

The band was the brainchild of Paul Jeffrey and Pete Marshall , having played together before they thought it was time that the world could experience their in your face METAL.......

Advertising for a singer, CAD called and came to audition, the lads liked what they heard and started the long task of trying to find more band members (and stop CAD being Paranoid).

Paul knew a guitarist called Craig aka Mr awesome (well that is what he tells us) and once again he had been in bands with Craig before.

Craig heard the call and was happy to jump onboard with DTF as this was his kind of music.

Two good friends and awesome musicians then said they would help us out whilst we were looking for a new drummer and Bassist . Mike (bass) and Dorian (drums) jumped in head first and we were soon knocking out some tunes. We started to gig and got good comments so we did a demo and kept gigging. Its what we do best...

In Mid 2009 we started looking for new Bassist and Drummer as Mike and D's own band Old Coprse road were turning heads in the Death Metal scene. We were sad to loose them but it opened the door for 2 new metal heads.

In Late 2009 Ian (Bass) and Anthony (Drums) joined the DTF ranks, they brought with them experience and one LOUD drum kit.

In March 2010 Ian announced that he will be leaving DTF , we have trawled the world for new bass player and we are pleased to announce that Simon Shaw is joining the DTF ranks. Thanks to Ian for your help and support .

The lads are working on new songs that kick the metal ass and will leave you all shouting DTF....DTF...DTF....

This band are exciting live and as one Poster headline said " ITS ATTITUDE METAL SMASHED IN YOUR FACE"
